I ran into this article this morning, and as I was reading it I thought, “Shouldn’t we be looking for these traits in the children in our class? Or even ourselves? Shouldn’t we be more focused on our own mental and intellectual cues to see if we find any of these traits within us? Shouldn’t we focus more on those traits within the children in our classroom, and provide an environment that is more in tune with and more tolerant of those traits within them? I mean, number three deals with rules; I am not saying that we shouldn’t have rules, but that the rules be more open to conversation during different circumstances.
